Sneak Peek At The Dead Space 2 Teaser Art

Visceral Games games released a teaser image for Dead Space 2, set to hit stores in 2010. This is the first media released since Dead Space Extraction Point for the Wii. The entire gaming community is ablaze trying to figure out what the image is all about.

The four circles represent silhouettes of Necromorphs, those wall climbing tentacle monsters from Dead Space. As for the writings at the end (even if they have any significance), it’s still anybody’s guess.

Update 1

Hmmm…. could the other two silhouettes represent new monsters from Dead Space 2? And what is it that they are climbing, a tower of some sort? The writings seem to be random alien gibberish that was often found in Dead Space.

It seems that the text has been deciphered. It reads “The nightmare is over but it will not end.” [GamingUnion] [Kotaku]

The text at the bottom of the image is translated to “The nightmare is over but it will not end.”
