Full 1080P on a 5870? Then you may have to dial the graphics settings all the way down to get decent performance. I’ve just given up on running Crysis 1. I upgraded my rig to two 3870 X2’s in CrossFire when Crysis came out. It struggled a lot running at 1920X1080P. Gonna get Crysis 2 on consoles this time around

Bro,i have played Crysis Warhead @1080p with my Radeon HD 4870.All the settings were at max but i had to disable vsync,Anti-aliasing to get my frame rates around 30fps at average.As far as i heard Crysis 2 will be much more optimized than crysis and crysis warhead.If its true then we dont have to think about the boundaries the new Crysis 2 will set for pc system requirements.If its not then it will be like all over again :sad:.

Dude its much more better to play crysis 2 in pc cause pc performence is better than 360 and ps3 I can guranntee and prove it to u.Trust me on this I hv more details in gaming than any1.If u had better hardware for ur pc if not than go gor the console version.

U Tat raideon grahics u mention dude trust me its not gonna work.U can play warhead and crysis 1 but u cant play crysis 2 and upcoming game RAGE the games completely made of DX11 like Alien VS Predators Its support DX11 ur graphics card support DX10.The Bad Side U cannot play crysis 2 at full setting.But Ati Raideon 5870 is completely DX11 tats y I bought it so tat I cud play crysis 2 at full settings and full 60fps.Abut warhead crysis 1 Ive seen the grahics with ati raideon 5870 its 10 times better than any other grahics card even grahics card u mentioned.

Lol, that’s our birth right as PC gamers! PC gamer for life.
Yeah, on a side note, I haven’t upgraded my PC in about 2 years since I still get decent performance at 1920X1080P with medium settings. Plus, shelling out $400+ for a graphics card doesn’t justify it since most PC games release on consoles. And I have a long way to go since I paid $800 just for the two HD 3870 X2’s I’m still running.
Problem is, I have my PC attached to a 46″ Bravia Z and it’s a real eye-sore to sit up close and play with keyboard and mouse. That’s my main problem. Yes, many games now support the 360 controller and I use it whenever I can, but I play on consoles mainly to play online with friends.
Then again Qubee has NAT problems! 👿 😡

with a some more clock speed and stream processors your 5870 cant be 10 times better than my radeon hd 4870 in any way.You can expect 10-15% more fps in any game with a 5870 against a 4870 and for the amount knowledge you hold in ur mind you make me :lol:.Cuz your graphics card cant even play Crysis or Crysis Warhead 60fps at 1080p let alone Crysis 2 :lol:.And for my part i have played Metro 2033 @1080p at high settings and got frame rates 30+ at average but it was Direct X10 not Direct X11.Your 5870 will get similar frame rates @ similar settings on Direct X11.If you want to put the fact where your mouth is get two 5970 HD on crossfire then you can think of getting 60fps at full 1080p on Crysis 2 :lol:.

Dude Y r u using qubee u can use simple internet connection like 256kbs but u hav buy a wired Router well I can play killzone2,battlefield 2 and modern warfare 2 online with no lag.My cousin play battlefield 2 and modern warfare 2 online in 192kbs with no lag.Y Qubee??? Tat shit cost too much.

Dude U Just Need A Motherboard Tat Supports Corei7 And power supply abut 800 Watts Tats it.Even Though u Hav Core2duo It doesnt matter.U Still play Upto Full 60fps and 5870 Can play up 3 monitorss it had showed left 4 dead.Tats y I chose tat card.And U Say Abut 5970 dude do u wanna pay 50000tk for tat.If I Were U I wont.With tat kind of money its better to upgrade.

Left 4 Dead isnt a graphics intensive game and is nothing compared to Crysis let alone Crysis 2.Its a no brainer that this game ran @60fps.Secondly i dont feel the need for an upgrade as all the games are running smooth as silk even Crysis and GTA 4 @ full 1080p.I think upgrading my pc at this time will be a complete loss as checking my current system specs.And on a side note i want to invest in consoles at the moment like playsation 3 games,playsation move & Xbox 360 slim 😛

Y U guys havnt put infamous 2 blog.Havnt U guys Heard they accomplished were no developers ever did and ever will be its only on PS3.It Is the power of ps3 spus (cell processors) tat able to achieve tat grahics.

dont know about originals but the clone/copied disc of the xbox 360 games cost about 200-300tk at the moment depending on the store.The prices of the original games should be several grands.

Because Ati Radeon 5870 has Ati Eyefinity Technology built right onto it and for that feature it can stream graphical process in several displays.If i will think about powerful gpu’s then it will be Ati Radeon 5970X2 4GB GDDR5 not the rebranded 4870 the 5870 with several new features like eyefinity with bit more juice from its earlier counterpart 😉

Greats specs yo! Windows 7 i presume to utilize all the cores. I will be getting a new gpu next month. Something on the cheap 15k-ish :S Recommendations? Anything other than 4600 series and the gt 240’s.

After this i can conclude Radeon HD 5670 is a bang for your buck graphics card 😛 It should deliver smooth gaming performance upto 720p but if you are asking for 1080p then go with the 5770 or GYX 260.

oh great! Basically 5670 should be good for me, as i dont plan on playing mainstream games on my PC. Maybe Sims 3 or warhammer once in a while. But I need the new chipset and ram for Photoshop CS5 and Final Cut (other OS). Direct X11 and the new architecture should only bring benefits.
Most high end softwares nowadays are using GPU utilization. So i will just go for the 5670 and if need be get a new psu.
