Dead Space 2 Gets Animated Movie And Graphic Novel

Visceral has announced at Comic Con 2010 that the Dead Space franchise will get a animated movie and a graphic novel.

The animated movie is dubbed Dead Space Aftermath. The story revolves around the response team to Aegis VII, sent in by the government (although not known by the crew), to get exposed to Marker shards.

The graphic novel titled Dead Space Salvage tells the tale of rogue miners who call themselves “The Magpies” and their dealings aboard the USG Ishimura.

Aftermath is expected in stores Starting January 2011 and Salvage in December 2010.

Dead Space 2 is set to release in January 25 2011 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360
