  1. my rig gets over the recommended system requirements then i expect some good performance from this game.Cant wait there is call of duty again in november what a year for innovation

  2. Even though my ATI Radeon HD 5570 can make it through at 1080p with high settings, 😛 but the fps will lag immensely, 👿 So before I get a trauma 😯 I think I’d rather stick with the console version for a swift gameplay at 1080p full hd on my hdtv.

  3. I have a 9800 GT but will this run smoothly on it on ‘high’? 😕

  4. @Gamerkid69

Your video card meets the minimum requirements. Just turn down the graphics down a notch and everything should be fine.

  5. @The Gaming Wiz/Mushfiqur Rahman

Then i guess it’s time for some upgrades  lucky I’ve been saving. By the way Do you happen to know how much a 480 GTX will cost me ❓

  6. @Gamerkid69

You’re going to have a tough time finding a GTX 480 in BD. Plus, it’s way overkill for your PC, unless you have a fast processor, 6 gigs of RAM and play at 2560X1200 resolution, which I doubt.

The best UCC brings is GT 260. However there are good ATI cards. The latest 5870 I bought about a month ago cost TK 32,500. They brought only two and now it’s sold out. 😛 You can get the 5850, it’s good and at a reasonable price. I’ll post the price list on Gamersworldbd. And no they don’t bring the 5970 sadly.

Besides, you can get it for consoles., I think it’ll be best to get the game for that. Saves the hassle of upgrading.

  7. @The Gaming Wiz/Mushfiqur Rahman

WOW my PC will never support that monster…I thought a core i3, 4 gigs of RAM could handle it 😥 guess I’ll have to buy it for the console.

  8. @gamerkid69

your pc will handle the game well but dont expect to play the game in maxed out settings.Mvidia 9800GT is a good graphics card with GDDR3 512mb memory if its the 1gb vesion thats much better and it falls into the medium-high range settings capable cards not the lower order ones and is similar to GT240 performance. That means you must sort out the graphics settings with mixed medium-high detail settings given that the fact ur gaming within 720p (1280X720) resolution. If all this criteria meets then i will suggest u to play on the pc cuz its more convenient to play a shooter using a mouse not the right analog stick unless ur an enthusiastic. If the game is highly optimized like Call of Duty Modern warfare 2 was then u can expect to play in high settings not maxed out

  9. Nvidia*

  10. @Rabbi

It’s the 1 gb version and I agree with you bro, a mouse is more fun than any console (to me) I’ll definitely try out both versions but I already know the PC version will be more entertaining 🙂

  11. @gamerkid69

yeah i agree FPS are meant to be played on pc not on consoles due to the accuracy and conveniency the mouse brings not some motion controls and a analog stick 😆 if u want a gtx480 check out pro-2 at bcs computer city 4th floor.Cuz,I did see a GTX295 there at the end of last year so i think it can be there at the moment u never know  I would recommend you to upgrade ur processor as well if u wanna upgrade to the GTX480 but ur current rig can still handle the gtx480 only check the psu requirements.

  12. @Rabbi

I gotchya bro, I’ll take that into consideration but although PC is the king of FPS, the xbox brought with the king of FPS games..Halo, without it no FPS game would be the same to this date.

  13. @gamerkid69

i meant the controls not the games.Who dont want to play halo using a mouse ❓ 😛

  14. @Rabbi

    LOL sorry bout that 😳

  15. @gamerkid69

Bro, even though your Nvidia 9800 GT meets the minimum system requirements, but I’m afraid that it may not run “smoothly” in your PC on high settings as my ATI Radeon HD 5570 can’t even run this type of games smoothly in high settings. I always have to lower the settings to medium to get a smooth gameplay in 1080p(1920X1080). However, the fps runs smoothly when I reduce my resolution to 720p or so, but I can’t do that since my monitor’s native resolution is 1080p, the graphics become awful and the text becomes almost illegible and cramped everytime I reduce my resolution. 👿

Perhaps, you can get the HD 5850 as the gaming wiz recommended. And Rabbi is right it is always more convenient to play a shooter with a mouse rather than any other controller. Though it may sound a bit paranoid but yes I play shooters with a game-pad even when I play on the PC.

  16. @sng425

“Though it may sound a bit paranoid but yes I play shooters with a game-pad even when I play on the PC.

    😯 ❗ 😯 ❗ 😯 ❗ 😯 ❗ 😯 ❗ 😯 ❗

  17. @ Rabbi

Don’t sound shocked coz a lot of people feel more comfortable with a game-pad 😐 certainly not me at least! 😛

  18. @Sng425

“Though it may sound a bit paranoid but yes I play shooters with a game-pad even when I play on the PC.”

Same here. Got my PC hooked up to a 46 inch Sony Bravia. And I don’t plan on burning my eyes out anytime soon from playing too close with a mouse and keyboard. Plus, playing from the sofa with a gamepad is so much more comfortable.

I hate it when developers don’t support the Xbox 360 controller on PC games, especially Games For Windows titles. I’m not saying controller is the best. But please give us the option. Yes, I’m looking at you Bad Company 2 😈 😡

  19. @gamerkid69

i aint shocked i was joking with sng425 with the emoticon 😆 even some of my friends play fps with gamepad but i aint leaving my razer mouse alone 😎

  20. @TheGamingWIz

think about the burning eyes thing when 3D comes around the gtoove 😯 ❗ Battkefield Bad Company 2 will be tough to play with the controller due to the advanced AI present on the game.

  21. @The Gaming Wiz/Mushfiqur Rahman

Yeah, it would be very troublesome to play with a mouse and keyboard with that setup. And it’s really annoying and vexatious indeed that certain games don’t support the xbox 360 controller on PC. 👿 It would have been a lot better if they would have given the players the option to play with an Xbox 360 controller. 🙁

    @gamerkid69

Actually, there is nothing to get shocked, a lot of gamers prefer and like to play with a game-pad rather than with a keyboard and mouse. 😈 The Xbox 360 controller is my favorite controller across both the Xbox 360 and the PC platforms. Right now, I’ve got 2 wired and 3 wireless Xbox 360 controllers for my Xbox 360 and PC.

    @Rabbi

“even some of my friends play fps with gamepad but i aint leaving my razer mouse alone 😎 ”

Bro, who would actually refrain himself from playing a FPS with a mouse that supports up to 5600 dpi?

“Battkefield Bad Company 2 will be tough to play with the controller due to the advanced AI present on the game.”

Yeah, It was really tough to play the game with the Xbox 360 controller as enemy AI is far more advanced in BBC 2 than any other game. I almost died like 20 times on a single level in medium difficulty. So I had to switch the difficulty level to easy, but it was still quite challenging !

  22. @sng425

“Bro, who would actually refrain himself from playing a FPS with a mouse that supports up to 5600 dpi?”

    yup u said it

“Yeah, It was really tough to play the game with the Xbox 360 controller as enemy AI is far more advanced in BBC 2 than any other game. I almost died like 20 times on a single level in medium difficulty. So I had to switch the difficulty level to easy, but it was still quite challenging !”

Yup same here i changed the difficulty to easy in the final few levels of the game specially changed it from the level where several choppers attack simultaneously from above.Other than that all levels were in medium difficulty settings.

  23. @Sng425

You can try Xpadder (free) or Pinnacle Game Profiler to use gamepads with games that don’t support it. Pinnacle worked flawlessly, but since Win 7 I’m having issues with it. 😡

  24. @sng425

“The Xbox 360 controller is my favorite controller across both the Xbox 360 and the PC platforms. Right now, I’ve got 2 wired and 3 wireless Xbox 360 controllers for my Xbox 360 and PC.”

Nah, I prefer a Razer mouse like Rabbi

  25. @The Gaming Wiz/Mushfiqur Rahman

You know what, bro, a guy who plays with gamepads would rather know about this things very well. 😛 And likely, I do know about this programs since I also play with gamepads on my PC. Although I don’t know why, 😕 I like the way if those games directly support the gamepads, 😛 rather than emulating the controls with such programs like Xpadder or Pinnacle.

Anyway, thanks for the advice! 🙂

    @gamerkid69

    Suit yourself!

  26. @gamerkid69

    thumbs up:!: 😎

  27. @Sng425

Ooops. My bad. 😛 Anyway, are you having trouble with Pinnacle Game Profiler and Bad Company 2? I don’t know what’s wrong with mine. Whenever I shoot the guy does a complete 360 turn. Same when I try to zoom, the view does a complete 360. Its driving me nuts! 😈 😡

  28. @The Gaming Wiz/Mushfiqur Rahman

Bro, I played Bad Company 2 a long ago(nearly about 7 months) when it was originally released. Besides, I played it on the Xbox 360 platform. So, I’m afraid that I can’t help you out with this one! 🙁

  29. @The Gaming Wiz/Mushfiqur Rahman

By the way, this bug sounds kinda funny, 😆 didn’t even heard of it before ! It’s the first time I’m hearing of it from you. Anyway, I hope you get rid of it soon or otherwise it’s going to be a real pain to go along with this problem ! 😈

  30. *hear

  31. @Sng425

Lol, I know. It’s not with Bad Company 2. It’s with Pinnacle or my 360 gamepad might be busted. This happens on other games though with Pinnacle. But games that natively support the controller and 360 games work flawlessly.

  32. @The Gaming Wiz/Mushfiqur Rahman

It’s easily perceptible that it isn’t the fault of the game itself, apparently the flaw is either derived from Pinnacle or your 360 controller. However, my intellect isn’t so strong enough to find out the reason behind it as the problem doesn’t seem logical enough to me. 😕 But still, it seems to me that there was a problem while you were mapping the controls and that might be the reason of the falter.

  33. will it support nvidia gt220 1gb ddr3 ?????????????//

  34. @SidewindeR

Yes it does. But you may have to lower down your settings to get good performance. What resolution do you use?

    @Sng425

You’re right. I messed up while using a patch. LOL, the game key bindings were wrong. TURN LEFT and FIRE had the same bindings! 😆

  35. using 1366*768………….
😥 😥 But you may have to lower down your settings to get good performance. 😥 😥

  36. @The Gaming Wiz/Mushfiqur Rahman

So, it wasn’t the fault of your gamepad or Pinnacle. Good thing it’s fixed now! 😛 By the way it was just a guess, I didn’t think my guess would come true! 😀

  37. @sng425

Lol, I know. Your post made me realize the plain truth. 😛 Before, I was all over the internet, in Pinnacle’s forum, BFBC2 forum and what not

Problem is, I’ve gotten too used to the mouse+keyboard setting in Bad Co 2. So, I’ve ditched the 360 controller 😀

  38. thought is should post this.. medal of honor ran on high (smoothly) on my new sapphire radeon hd 5670 1gb ddr5…fps was >60..however the max resoloution of my monitor is 1024*768..so maybe you will have to turn it down for higher resoloutions..
