How To Avoid Corrupt F1 2010 Save Game Data
Well, it happened to me right now. Finished third practice in Valencia with Virgin Racing in career mode (also unlocked a cool R&D objective). Had the fastest time in practice and so saved the game and quit. Just as I was ready to storm the qualifying, the unthinkable happened. The save game was corrupted! *Looks away and curses at the heavens and the stars*
The problem lies with the game itself and Codemasters is working on a fix in their upcoming patch. The bug happens when you unlock a R&D objective in practice and then quite to the paddock and exit the game. The next time you load, you’ll be greeted with the corrupt save game warning. To avoid this just head on to qualifying and then quit to paddock.
Here’s what Codemasters has to say:
After a practice session where you complete an R&D objective and unlock a new upgrade make sure you then load in to the following qualifying session before exiting the game.
And also, as our technical support FAQ now says:
We believe this only occurs if, after completing an R&D objective, you…
– Retire to the paddock via the Engineer (in the garage).
– Terminally damage your car and select retire to paddock.
– Get disqualified and select retire to paddock.
As long as you progress to the qualifying session before quitting the game this problem will not occur.
Just to be on the safe side, we have a lot of electricity outages here in Bangladesh. So, take extra precaution and get a UPS. Or don’t play when you think the electricity might go out anytime soon. And don’t overwrite that save game data. It is possible that the upcoming patch may allow you to load from the corrupt save game, though nobody is making any promises.

If your save game is already corrupt, there is really not that much you can do. The only thing I can offer is sympathies. I played on expert difficulty and even with Virgin Racing, I worked my way to the top four in Driver’s Championship. Oh well. Back to square one.

too bad 😥 never had it but after hearing the precautions i will try to avoid that
perfectly even tried 2 downloaded games running backup from my 16gb flash drive.Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and Ratch and clank Quest for booty worked like a charm also tried backing up my original game and it worked as well.

Glad to hear that you got your Jailbreak and it’s running without any problems.
But it’s too bad 👿 that I can’t get my hands on it yet. I’ll have to wait till those shops bring it in. 🙁

too bad 😡 have to tell u guys something.Dont worry hack for the other firmwares are coming pretty soon it will be just a matter of time before the new driver of the jailbreak hits which will allow 3.5 or 3.42 to work.God of War 3 is 40gb in size 😯 the downloaded version and many other issues as well are present and its tough to maintain that at first.As FAT32 system cant take a single file to transfer more than 4gb those files are needed to be transferred by http://ftp.Other than that other games are simple just copy and enjoy.For a good thing there is a ps3 ripper software available online which can remove the unneeded chunk of files.Anyway i hope u guys will be able to jailbreak ur ps3 sooner rather than later

*The size of the two downloaded games are around 5gigs and as they doesnt contain a single file over 4gb they can be easily played without hassle of FTP.

when I run f1 2010.exe it shows a razor logo and some sound, after it disappear and nothing happen, what should I do

Well, you cant try getting the latest patch for the game and see if it works. Also, grab the latest graphics card drivers. Does your PC meet the minimum requirements?
