BioShock Infinite Will Rock On The PS3
Irrational Games is making a serious effort on the Sony system for their upcoming Bioshock title.
Playstation 3 gamers were previously distraught over poor porting of Bioshock games where the Xbox 360 had the better of it.Irrational Games Lead Technical Designer Chris Kline reached out to fans in a recent forum post to assure Playstation 3 owners that they won’t be getting the short end of the stick this time around.
Kline notes that the PS3 version of Infinite will not be a port at all. As the development team is larger than the team that worked on the original BioShock, the versions are being built simultaneously. Furthermore, the team has modified the game engine so that all platforms resemble the PS3 version from a programming perspective.
Bioshock: Infinite will release in 2012 on PC, Playstation 3 and XBOX 360. The release date is subject to change.

Not only BioShock but I also remember Bayonetta had problems on the PS3. I think this is because PS3 was early in its life cycle and developers hadn’t grown accustomed to it.
