How To Patch AP 2.5 Games To Work With LT+ Firmware
Finally, it’s a success! You guys probably know I tried to flash my Xbox 360 DVD drive’s firmware to LT+ from Game Source, Bashundhara City.
The flash was a success but games with AP 2.5, for example Fable 3, did not boot. It didn’t show the usual “Disc Unreadable Error”, but, the game got stuck in a black screen. Full list of Xbox 360 games with AP 2.5.
Seems like the “backup” games in Bangladesh are not patched for AP 2.5 support. You can do it easily from your home. So, I recommend you flash your Xbox 360’s DVD drive from Game Source and then patch AP 2.5 games that don’t work.
Here’s how to patch AP 2.5 games to work with LT+ firmware.
1. Download latest Abgx v1.0.4
2. Install and run Abgx
3. In the “AutoFix” tab, select “Level 3” from the “AutoFix Threshold” drop down menu
4. Point to your game ISO and hit “Launch” to patch the game.
5. Burn it to a DVD+R DL using ImgBurn
You can even patch Xbox 360 DVD games that you bought. Here’s how:
1. Insert your Xbox 360 DVD game into your PC
2. Use ImgBurn to “Create Image File From Disc”
3. Use Abgx to patch the newly created image
4. Burn it to a disc
Finally guys, Xbox 360 Lt+ firmware is now working in Bangladesh! So, we recommend you visit Game Source at Bashundhara City as we have collaborated with them to flash your Xbox 360.

Please confirm that Pre-AP 2.5 games that we buy from stores are working normally. And Please tell me how long does Gamesource take to flash the 360. Do they it instantly or do I have to leave it at their stores.

All Pre-AP 2.5 games work fine. Game Source will require a maximum of 30 minutes to flash your console, if everything goes according to plan.

Yes. You’ll need a DL Dvd writer. You can check if yours is a DL Dvd writer using nero info tool. Download here:

i absolutely agree with x360assasin, since all the games from now will have AP 2.5 , so wouldn’t it be a pain to dload all the games or buy all the games along with a empty dvd+r dl disc and then patch and burn the games, after that play it?..THE SHOPS SHOULD DO IT…anyway is nfs hp and ac:b patched and ready for playing?

DVD+R DL, as I stated in article. Best to go with Verbatim/Mitsubishi. Don’t go with Melody as they may give you burn errors. Also, burn at 2.4x.

To clear up the confusion, Fable 3 released before LT+ firmware and so wasn’t patched. Newer games will most likely come with the patch, so, don’t worry.

Since, it’s Fable 3 only (I expect it to be only Fable 3), email me your address and I’ll mail you a burned Fable 3 disc through courier mail.
Also, didn’t try Brotherhood as it hasn’t been released in BD market yet. Going to get for PS3 come December 5.

hmm..i will come to dhaka in december..but dunno which shop to go to..i have heard game source is good..but i bought this console from exclusive game zone (imam)..wat is ur opinion? mr.imam said that for the 1st 1 year all service is free..does that mean flashing too?

Try Exclusive Game first. If they don’t do it for free, go to Game Source. I personally recommend Game Source.

DL DVDs are widely available. The good ones like Verbatim costs like Tk.80.
But I do believe the shops should patch the games and sell otherwise they won’t work and no one will buy them so they’ll HAVE to patch to keep their shops running.

This is really concerning for me..I’m gonna get a new internet connection next month, of at least 512kbps..But I don’t think any of the internet connection are fit for me..Firstly, i’m gonna play online and qubee have problems while gaming online..Banglalion doesn’t have coverage in the dhaka cantonment area and btcl needs to many wires..so i don’t know what to do..Anyway have you ever heard of sky net? I saw on a paper that it provides 512kbps fibre optic connection for Tk 1200 and 1 mbps for TK 2500..but i doubt if the speeds are gonna be dedicated, i need minimum 400 kbps to call gta 4,nfs hp and COD black ops online..anyway i have used zoom ultra and played gta 4 online with it , and it’s pretty good…but zoom is just always limited..

..but i think u should go with wimax as it will be dedicated..whereas btcl or skynet(never heard of it before) wont be dedicated as the rates are lower..
i think 400 kbps is sufficient..coz i play mw2 on my 512kbps wimax (banglalion) .. its good ..

I thought you live outside dhaka ..anyway where do you live??And i wish i could go with Wimax , but its not possible cause Banglalion doesn’t have coverage in the Dhaka Cantt area and Qubee has some NAT issues so i cant play online with Qubee..So i think my options are BTCL or skynet…
anyway if you play online on your xbox 360 , give me your Gamertag..we’d kick some asses…

Don’t go with those brands. I’ve had bad luck with them, not to mention burn errors (try getting stuck at 96%) and skipping while in the Xbox 360 (I also recommend to install the game to HDD of any burned game disc you play).
Best is Verbatim/Mitsubishi DVD+R DL.

I had also bad experience with rhino..but i don’t get any burn error but after burned mafia 2 when playing sometime a hole area or road is missing because of poor disk quality and yesterday when i bought ac.bhood hakim vai give it to me on rhino and i re-burned it on mitsubishi which is 180tk.

I am facing a new kind of prob on my xbox360, maybe its new for me!! when i turn on my xbox360 after 25-30 mins its turned off automatically. no red light, nothing just directly turn off , i don’t know what kind of problem is this? i checked my power brick connection everything is ok . if any one know about it pls let me know.

Maybe it is turning itself off due to overheating? Make sure it is well ventilated. Also, check the temperature after it turns off to see whether it is too hot.

Extract the RAR files using a free program such as 7 Zip. Burn them using any DVD authoring app, I prefer the free ImgBurn.

The rar files go on like this: part001, part002, part003 and so on. Generally, it is the first rar file with part001 that you have to extract.
If that doesn’t work, try to find the rar file which has no part in its name/standalone rar file.

Of course it won’t work. You need LT+ firmware for that. Go to Game Source at Bashundhara City and tell them to flash your DVD drive with LT+. It’s a really complex procedure and you can’t just flash your drive by sticking it on a thumb drive and trying to upgrade your 360 from there.

No way to know for sure expect running AP 2.5 games such as Fable 3. Also, ask Nadim for the file/flashed firmware name that they used.

sup guys 🙂 , i am trying to find a suitable shop to mod my Xbox 360 elite. the shops that i’ve tried so far are games source and games world….both of them failed at their task but they did specify that they might get sum sort of update to mod the lastest xbox 360….it was around february of 2010 when they said that. so, i was wondering if that updated modding software is availabe yet.

it was manufactured on the 6th of november of 2009;
it probably boasts a liteon drive (which i figured out by removing the face plate and observing two yellow wires in the hole)
and it came with a 120gb harddrive and a copy of Pure and lego batman.
so can u tell me if it there is any store that can mod my xbox. plz guys help me, for my 360 lying at da coner of my room and i cant play my fav games it 🙁

When did you take your 360 Elite to be modded? The latest LT+ firmware for 360 Elite was released late last year and you can take your console to Game Source for flashing.

i took my elite 2 them in the mid of february 2010…at 1st games world tried for 30 mins and failed, then when i took it to games source they said that they’ll need 3-4 days and asked for a fee of 5000tk…but as a gamer in distress i had to agree to it…after almost a week passed by, i contacted them and they broke the sad news to me that they failed. They said that due to the firewire being the latest one they couldnt mod it…..so, can u be certain that they can mod my 360 elite now and if so, can you specify an estmate of fee they might ask for?

Yup, you can take your Elite to Game Source and tell them to flash the LT+ firmware. Don’t pay more than Tk 1,500 and say that you’re from Gamersworldbd.
