Kinect Sells 2.5 Million Units In 25 Days

Microsoft has announced that it sold 2.5 million Kinects worldwide in it’s first 25 days.

Previously, Microsoft announced that it had sold 1 million units in the first 10 days.

Microsoft previously estimated that Kinect will sell 5 million units worldwide by the end of this year:

“This is a great start to the holiday season, and we will continue to work with our retailer partners to keep pace with high demand and deliver against our plan to sell more than 5 million Kinect sensors worldwide by the end of this year.”

Reports suggest that Kinect costs $56 for Microsoft to make.
