   To be honest I really don’t like the VGAs for obvious reasons so I’m looking forward to IGN’s and Gamespot’s awards

   Yaaaa man RDR is the best………..And it was decided the day the day the game out…..No one beats rockstar…..And next year result is ”L. A. Noire”….u should know it in advance……

   best graphics is God Of War III?
   so guys i haven’t played it so is the graphics really that awesome?
   I agree with most of awards , but i’m waiting for Gamespot’s awards…

   anyway RDR deserved the award. I’m still playing that game when i’m in mood for it. Five finger fillet,hunting,side missions never get old. My best memory is to lasso people and drop them in a railway line and see them get crushed.

   Anyway, i went to GameSource today, got my xbox 360 flashed with the latest firmware but still wouldn’t get my hands on NFS Hotpursuit because the NFS HP in Bangladesh are all for NTSC and NTSC-J region. But mine is PAL. So i’m counting on Nadim now cause they usually sell free region game for tk 500. Which is reasonable. But most of the games in BD are free region. On the positive side i got my hands on assassin’s creed brotherhood and so far loving the game.

   @xlivnt – yes the graphics is tht good. Well deserved. I bet heavy rain and Castlevania came pretty close in the list as well.

   most of the game awards are just. Poor squre-enix. Their ff 13 was an utter failiure. Should have been awarded the most disappontment in gaming history.

   I was a bit surprised when Super Mario Galaxy 2 did’nt get nominated for GoTY despite it being the highest rated game of the year 😕

    Super Mario Galaxy 2 is not at the same level as RDR, Mass Effect 2 ,Cod : BO…..its just a noob time pass game……..

    I don’t mean any offence, I just wanted to make my point clear that it’s not Casual Video game Awards or Hardcore video game awards, the VGAs represent the gaming industry as a whole 🙄

    AC:B was normally packed. All the shops now sell patched AP2.5 games.

    well honestly guys super mario galaxy 2 is nothing when compared to RDR..i have no idea why it got so high ratings..

    i think the best male awards should go to Reznov or John Marston….Not some spidy maniac…

    and i think evn the RDR mini-games are more fun than mario…..i havnt played it bt saw scrreenshots and gameplay….

    i didnt play super mario galaxy 2, but i played part 1, and it was great. its a tough debate actually, and quite messy if we go into it, if we start talking about which is a better game, mario or RDR ( RDR would get almost every1z vote ). but think of it this way, why is tetris and super mario brothers still considered some of the best games of all time ? to our generation this might seem absurd, after playng games like Metal Gear, RDR, Mass effect. Personally, i think, its because of entertainment. If its great and top notch in its own rights even mario galaxy or tetris could outshine RDR or MGS.

    @fahim sinister – dude, male voice actor of Spiderman is awesome. His voice acting was great, and he is Barney From How i Met your Mother. its an awesome tv show like friends. im sure u might have heard of it. But its okay, every1 has their own opinion. I personally like Donald Ducks voice from Kingdom Hearts but whoz listening to my opinion ( im kiddin, incase some ppl cant tell )

    Same here, although I didn’t finish it. Now only if the Wii had HD graphics. And you’re also right – RDR is a proper hardcore game. Sure Super Mario Galaxy got good scores, but standing with the rest of the heavyweights, and it’s really not that hard to decide.

    Also, Neil Patrick AKA Barney from How I Met Your Mother, also hosted the VGAs 2010. Speaking of which, did anyone download and watch the show? If not, I urge you to do it.

    I tried my best to avoid the spoilers while writing this article, since the show wasn’t available to download at the time of writing this. I only knew RDR had won GoTY (and that was for the sole purpose of writing it) and didn’t even glance at the list of winners. 😀

    i know abt how i met ur mother..and the fact that barney did it does not make it the best one….i like Homer’s voice in the simpsons more than barney’s…Bt they mst hav smthin for awardins spidy’s voice…….. 😐 😐 😐

    and to overthrow rdr, MA or Cod mario needs a super make-over……….It’ll take a decade or two……

    And evn though GTA 4 two years old its evn better than the new mario….Mario is no fun excpt the ‘old-school’ gamin flavour that i once had with SEGA……………

    Barney’s voice is not that AWESOME! Reznov’s voice is kinda better and Homer Simpson’s voice is the best. So, I think Reznov deserved the award. Anyway did you guys notice they all play xbox 360 and xbox on How I Met Your Mother.

    I think the reason why barney got the award cause spiderman’s character and barney’s kid type voice mixes well.

    im not saying this bcoz im a rockstar fan..bt i think there is a maturity and depth in marston’s voice……reznov was also gud…..bt its no use thinking abt it coz its already decided…………. 🙄 🙄 🙄

    I guess, you’re right. They could have done justice by giving it to John Marston. Also, I think it could have been better if they would have given the best developer of the year award to Rockstar San Diego as they worked so hard(check out The gaming’s wiz’s posted link of that article in the comments section)while creating RDR. Although Bioware is also good if it was awarded for Mass Effect 2(don’t know as I didn’t watch the show).
