Bethesda: Elder Scrolls V Won’t Be An MMO

Despite rumors suggesting that the next Elder Scrolls game will be an MMO, Bethesda, has confirmed that this won’t be the case.

Speaking to VGR, a Bethesda rep said:

“It is not an MMO. We have an MMO studio, ZeniMax Online, but they have not announced what they are working on. Just rumors and speculation.”

Bethesda previously announced that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim uses a brand new game engine.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is due out on November 11, 2011.
