BioWare’s Founders Inducted Into The Hall Of Fame

BioWare co-founders Dr. Greg Zeschuk and Dr. Ray Muzyka will be the 14th and 15th inductees in the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences’ hall of fame.

In a press release, AIAS president Martin Rae is quoted as saying “The Doctors – Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk – have produced some of the most wildly successful and accomplished games, and these will resonate among gamers for a very long time… The range of their talents is endless, from game design and production to being accomplished in business and corporate leadership, and their original backgrounds as physicians. They truly embody what it means to be a Hall of Fame recipient and the AIAS is looking forward to including them into our esteemed list of inductees.”

Muzyka’s response to the honor was: “We’re truly honored to represent our teams of passionate, hard-working, creative staff across the BioWare Group within Electronic Arts, and they all share this award with us… Driving BioWare’s success past, present and future are the amazing family of people we have been privileged to work with over the years and our shared core values of quality in our workplace, quality in our products, and entrepreneurship in a context of humility and integrity.”

Previous inductees into the AIAS hall of fame include the likes of Shigeru Miyamoto, Will Wright, John Carmack, and Peter Molyneux.
