EA Confirms Dead Space 2 Demo Coming Dec 21

After lots of rumors and speculations EA has finally confirmed that a Dead Space 2 demo is on it’s way to hit PSN and XBL within a few days.

In the demo, the players will get to “discover the Church of Unitology and help Isaac defeat the Necromorph outbreak in a gruesome, unforgiving battle on The Sprawl.”

The players will also get to play with the new Javelin gun, trying out the stasis recharge and telekinesis ability and a new space suit [complete with jet packs] to use in the demo.

The Dead Space 2 demo will be hitting Xbox Live and PSN on December 21st in North America and on the 22nd in Europe, which is five weeks before the game’s launch.

Recently, EA has also divulged that Multiplayer was the “most requested” feature for Dead Space 2.

Dead Space 2 releases this January 25 2011 (USA) and January 28 2011 (EU) for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
