Kids’ Interest In Gaming Consoles Are Falling

Recently, a survey done by research group Nielsen reveals that a surprising amount of 6 to 12 year olds have lost interest in consoles by a considerable margin and instead opt for iDevices.

According to the survey, about 29% wanted an iPod Touch and 31% wanted an iPad. Only 12% wanted a X360, 14% opted for a PSP, 18% looked towards the Wii, 21% wanted a PS3 and 25% a nDS.

Another discovery was between the two motion controllers, Kinect for X360 and PSMove for PS3, only 17% percent wanted a Move and 14% percent wanted the Kinect.

It seems kids nowadays are not thinking straight.
