Thief 4 Set To Be Revealed At GDC 2011?

Square Enix is set to hold a discussion about Thief 4’s audio at GDC 2011. This pretty much guarantees an official confirmation of the game will be coming soon.

The GDC discussion has been titled Stealing Sound: Generative Music in THIEF’, will mark “the first time that the game has been spoken about” according to GDC.

“Developers should more enthusiastically embrace alternative music models to resolve ongoing issues with linearity and to create a musical aesthetic that pushes away from the shadow of film,” it reads.

The session description goes on to commit that the talk will mark “the first public insight into Thief and its generative music engine.”
