And that’s that. You can put those rumors to rest. CliffyB has tweeted “No Kinect in Gears of War 3.”
Previously, it was rumored that Gears of War would feature Kinect.
Bear in mind that it was not mentioned “which iteration of Gears of War for Kinect it will be” so there is still a bit to the Gears of War Kinect rumor.
But this is certain: Gears of War 3 will not have Kinect support.

This again proves that MS really sucks. 👿 I had plans for buying the Xbox 360 slim including Kinect within the next month. But now I think I should rather get the Playstation Move and Jailbreak my PS3, and perhaps buy a new external Hdd for my PS3. 😛

i bought xbox 360 in 2007 and it gave up on me on 2008.After that there is no way back to that backstabber and PS3 showed me the way out to redemption then i felt cleansed 😈

Massive failure? You must be joking! 😆 Kinect sold 1 million units within 10 days of it’s launch in US whereas the Playstation Move took 1 month to reach the same height which Kinect has done within 10 days. So, shouldn’t we call the PS Move a massive failure rather than accusing Kinect as it has already proven what it is worth of? Kinect’s one and only deficiency is it’s lack of hardcore games, otherwise it’s a great stuff.

Correction: The sales aren’t going higher because of the celebs promoting their brand, it’s because Kinect is actually the best in motion controlled gaming. And what more, it doesn’t need no controller to handle it like the PS Move! You can play with your hands free! It can’t get any better(fanboyism intended to contradict your PS3 fanboyism)!

ps3 move has the same kind of hybrid tech [detecting motion of our limbs+move controller motion] as well on the game “The Fight Lights Out” and some fitness games like “Get fit with Mel B” 😛 but this tech runs better on kinect in fact 🙁

I didn’t say it’s a hardcore game at all. What I said is, the game types are usually defined by how they play and what kind of gamers do they attract. Heavy Rain is more of a casual game as it’s a story driven game and doesn’t need much more precision or hardcore gaming skills while playing. But however it attracted gamers from the both ends.
