Blizzard Working On “Next Gen MMO” Titan

The house that built World of Warcraft has confirmed that their “next gen MMO” is dubbed Titan.

However it is really at the very early stages. Speaking to Destructoid, World of Warcraft executive producer Frank Pearce said:

“Titan is… the media is not meant to know anything about that. It’s our next gen MMO and we’ve only started talking about it in a limited fashion because we want to leverage the fact that we’re working on something like that for the purpose of recruiting – getting some of the best talent in the industry on that.”

Nothing else had been said, and even if Titan will be the name the game releases by. For all we know, it could be an in-house code name.

Whatever the case, it won’t be releasing soon as Blizzard’s next priority is the upcoming Diablo 3.
