EA Confirms Jan 18 Release Date For Mass Effect 2 PS3

The wait is over. EA has just confirmed that Mass Effect 2 for PS3 will release on January 18 2011 (USA) and January 21 (EU).

Since PS3 gamers won’t be getting the first Mass Effect (Microsoft holds the rights to that one), the events of the first story will be told through an interactive digital comic.

The disc includes all the Mass Effect 2 DLCs released to date except for Zaeed and Firewalker which you’ll have to download (for free) from the Cerberus Network.
