How To Beat Vergil DMC: Devil May Cry

Beating Vergil at the end of DmC: Devil May Cry may be frustrating if you don’t know what you’re doing. You hack and slash away at Vergil and then he kneels on the ground to recharge his health and out pops his double. I went on to repeat this step quite a few times before I figured out how to defeat Vergil.

The trick is to use your Devil Trigger (on the Xbox 360 this is activated by holding down the Left+Right sticks simultaneously) when Vergil’s double appears. If you don’t use Devil Trigger, he will block your every attack.

If you don’t have a full bar to activate Devil Trigger, just keep hitting his double and farm the purple orbs to fill it up. If it still doesn’t make sense watch the YouTube video below:

Pretty soon you’ll have defeated Vergil in no time and you can sit back and relax the ending to DmC Devil May Cry.
